End your day in the most spectacular way imaginable.
End your day in the most spectacular way imaginable.
A Toast to the Day.
As the heat of the day fades and the world begins to settle, the sky becomes a playground of light. Floating thousands of feet above the South West as the sun dips toward the horizon, you'll watch the landscape turn to honey-gold, then deep amber, before the first stars begin to appear after landing. It is the most romantic time to be in the air.
Why do we fly in the evening?
We fly in the evening as the ground begins to cool. This natural cooling stops the "thermals" (rising pockets of warm air) that occur during the day, resulting in a smooth, stable and peaceful flight.
A Landscape in Bloom.
Everything looks better in the evening light. The long shadows define the ridges of the Mendip Hills, the architecture of Bath glows in warm stone, and the Bristol Harbourside reflect the changing colours of the sky. It is a visual masterpiece that changes throughout the flight.
