A Clear Space

We typically require a clear, flat area of mown grass approximately 50m x 50m (about the size of a small paddock or a small football pitch).

A Clear Horizon

The site must be free from overhead obstructions. We look for areas away from power lines, tall trees, or overhanging cables that could interfere with the balloon's flight.

A Peaceful Environment

For the safety of flight and your own livestock, any animals must be securely moved to a different field or housed during the launch process.

Our launch vehicle and trailer will need clear access to the site to set up the equipment.

Our pilots will conduct a thorough pre-flight assessment (often via satellite imagery and a site visit) to confirm the suitability of the launch site.

Our private launch service is an extension of our Intimate Flight package. There are no additional fees for the flight itself; however if the location sits outside our primary area of operations, a modest excess milage charge will apply to cover the logistics of bringing the team to you. This will be transparently detailed in your personalised quote.
